Thriving with MIP to Support Public Health in North Carolina
Carolina Family Health Center has used MIP Accounting® since 2010 to help with the complexities of managing multiple grants and complying with the reporting idiosyncrasies of diverse grantors.
After a promising start with MIP, CFHC was looking for a way to manage its finances and human resources services. The organization turned to MIP and asked for help.
We recommended that CFHC implement the HR Management, Payroll, and Employee Web Services (EWS) modules to streamline HR services for its four locations and nearly 200 employees.
“EWS was a game changer for us. With EWS, employees now log their hours in the system and supervisors approve them online. There’s no manual entry required, and the data is automatically shared with MIP,” CFHC Director of Finance Kimberly Terry said. “EWS saves the Payroll team a day and a half worth of time every single pay period. EWS allows mileage reimbursements to be entered as well as to be paid through payroll.”
Key takeaways include:
- How CFHC uses MIP to manage and oversee its funds
- How MIP’s modules help CFHC tell its financial story
