How Automated Payments Works
Momentive partnered with Corpay, a leading provider of AP automation software, to bring MIP Automated Payments to nonprofits and associations. How it works:
1. Create or update vendor payment preferences in MIP.
2. Then, when you need to pay an invoice for an existing vendor, select the invoice, and MIP sends it through to Corpay for processing.
3. If adjustments need to be made, even if autopay is set, you can make them before the invoice is sent to Corpay.
4. Corpay handles the payment, including notifying the vendor, managing the payment, and even following up.
5. Corpay updates the payment status and syncs the information to MIP, where you can report on historical payment status as needed.
